The 4 Wing Cold Lake/CLFN liaison office provides a single point of contact for the Canadian Forces Base 4 Wing Cold Lake with members of Cold Lake First Nations (CLFN).

The main purpose of the position between CLFN and 4 Wing is to implement and administer an access agreement between CLFN, Canada, the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan which allows CLFN members access to their traditional territory known as the Cold Lake air weapons range. The liaison officer is responsible for direct membership interaction to communicate the roles and responsibilities of any CLFN member accessing the range. The Access Agreement has provisions for employment, and contracts.
