The Cold Lake First Nations governance, in conjunction with the Housing Authority and Housing Department, shall endeavor to develop a strong local delivery, maintenance, and management system to serve the housing needs of Cold Lake First Nations.

The Housing Committee shall consist of nine band members appointed by Chief and Council for a term of five years. There must be at least one band member representing each of the reserves (149, 149A, 149B).

The role of the housing committee is to advise the Chief and Council on matters concerning housing to ensure the best interests of the First Nations are met.
