ENERGY SAVINGS & MAINTENANCE TIPS
- Thick curtains during the winter months keep out drafts. Windows are one of the
main causes of heat loss in a home. During the day open the windows to allow radiant
light in to heat your home.
- Keep heat registers obstructed from under your windows. This warms the cool air
coming from the windows and keeps your home energy efficient.
- Check your furnace filter and change it at least once per month. A clean furnace
filter allows for less wear on the furnace blower motor and cleaner air in your home.
A little more expensive filter may be worth while especially if someone in your home
may have dust allergies or sensitive to fine dust particles.
