Approval decisions are made by the Cold Lake First Nations Human Resources Departmental staff and are based on:
The availability of funds
Cost effectiveness
Meeting the specified deadlines for submissions
Proper order and completion of the application and other attachments
Meeting eligibility criteria
If applicable, success with past sponsorship
Demonstrated motivation and commitment
Support letters for future employment
Skills development that meets the current or future labour market
Demonstrated true financial need
Sponsorship Conditions
Processing of any applications will not take place until all necessary
documentation is completed and provided to the Human Resources Department.
All documentation required is the sole responsibility of the applicant. Do not
approach the Human Resources Department until all documentation is
collected.
Applicants must apply to training institutions that offer their specific training
programs at the nearest location to the Cold Lake First Nations.
Any false documentation or information might result in the applicants
immediate denial of sponsorship and may prevent the applicant from receiving
future sponsorship.
The applicant must settle any outstanding debts to any education and/or training
Institution such as: Library fines, parking fines or any other debts
Re-location Assistance will be paid directly from the Human Resources Department.
