    Kinusoo Communications

Because only dial up service was available on the Cold Lake First Nations, Thomas created a local company called Kinusoo Communications Ltd to distribute the Hi Speed Internet. Cold Lake First Nations is the only reservation in Alberta to be split into a triangle of three separate communities, with a city and Air Force Base in the centre. Kinusoo Communications plans to establish a series of communications towers in those communities to deliver Hi Speed internet service on the First Nations, in addition to many potential customers in the City of Cold Lake.

Kinusoo Communications Ltd. Board of Directors include President, Allan Jacob; Vice-President, Walter S. Janvier; Technical Advisor, David Gendron and Treasurer, Robert Machatis. Senior Advisor is Thomas Piche.

In all of this, the main objective of the Cold Lake First Nations I.T. Department is to provide improved electronic communications, develop and maintain a brilliant website, and to embrace the technological advances such as video conferencing with open arms, for that indeed is the way of the future.
