Given the crucial importance of addressing the deficiencies in the current Election Law, Chief and Council have resolved to hold one last referendum, using a new and different approach.
Instead of voting on whether to approve a proposed Election Law, members will vote on a series of separate questions about specific issues in our Election Law. This will allow members to choose their preferred option for each question. The objective is to ensure that it will be clear which [future] changes have the support of the community and which do not.
