Governance Reflecting Our Values

Electoral Reform

On May 29, 2017, CLFN Launched an Electoral Reform Commission “Denezi nalts’i” with a mandate to develop a new election law and hold a referendum to approve it.  Evolving unilaterally with member concerns, real-time advisement and discussion are our guiding principles to deliver results.

This Electoral Reform Commission operates at arms length from Chief and Council to implement the Terms of Reference for the Commission. This ensures political neutrality and professional service in the best interest of the citizens. All CLFN citizens are encouraged to participate in the activities the commission.
