Cold Lake First Nations is pleased to invite community members to attend the 2026 Spring Carnival, taking place this Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Dene God’he Youth Centre and Administration Area.
The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. with an opening prayer, followed by welcoming remarks from Chief Kelsey Jacko and Council. Throughout the day, families can enjoy a wide range of activities designed for all ages, bringing the community together in a fun and welcoming environment.

The day’s schedule includes a variety of indoor and outdoor events such as a talent show, storytelling sessions, mini air hockey and foosball tournaments, and a crib tournament. Outdoor activities will feature toboggan races, snow golf, wagon rides, and a community bonfire.
Additional family-friendly activities include face painting, balloon entertainment, and the opportunity to cook hotdogs and make s’mores at the fire throughout the day.
A number of meal offerings will also be available:
- Hamburgers, chips, and pop will be served from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Taco in a bag and juice will be provided from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Complimentary coffee, tea, juice, and water will be available throughout the day, and a concession will also be open at the Dene God’he Youth Centre.
This year’s Spring Carnival is an opportunity for Cold Lake First Nations members to gather, connect, and celebrate community spirit. All members are encouraged to attend and take part in the day’s activities.
